We are thrilled to announce our project BeeScape@UM! The funding for this project comes from the Bank of Valletta’s Rebbiegħa CSR initiative, which selected our project from among 21 submissions by 17 different NGOs. The open call for proposals was made last February, and we are honoured to have been chosen.
In partnership with the Biology Department at the University of Malta, BeeScape@UM will focus on creating ecological enclaves designed to support and promote pollinator biodiversity conservation. These enclaves provide habitats for bees and other pollinators, which are crucial for maintaining healthy ecosystems.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Bank of Valletta for their trust and support. Their generous funding through the Rebbiegħa CSR initiative will enable us to make significant strides in our mission to conserve pollinator biodiversity, including the Maltese Honey Bee.
Stay tuned for updates on our progress. Together, we can create a thriving environment for pollinators and foster a sustainable future!
