Together with The ‘GROW 10 TREES’ Project (G10T), we are launching an initiative to promote flora that is especially important for pollinating insects found in the Maltese Islands, including the Maltese Honey Bee! All the plants and seeds provided in this campaign are of Maltese stock and were collected by an authorised method.
How can you take part?
1) Send a self-addressed envelope to; 134, Flt 2, Tal-Mixura, Moroni Street, Sliema, SLM1211. Don’t forget to include a note saying #POLLINATIVES. You will receive back seeds of local floral species that are important for pollinators!
2) Contact G10T through a private message on Facebook, and make an appointment to visit their nursery which is located at; Dar tal-Kleru, Triq Anġlu Grima, Birkirkara (https://goo.gl/maps/Kn2Ma1z94CdSZEj59). There you can buy a number of local plants. And don’t forget to mention the #POLLINATIVES campaign!
