The Foundation for the Conservation of the Maltese Honey Bee is pleased to offer Apicul-Tour for Groups and Individuals experiences, providing organisations, companies, families, and groups of friends with a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating world of the Maltese Honey Bee together.

This engaging experience is available in two booking formats:

Group Bookings (6 or more participants)

Designed for groups of six or more participants, this experience allows guests to enjoy the Apicul-Tour together. Groups are invited to contact the Foundation directly by email at info@maltesehoneybee.org to propose a preferred date and time. Every effort will be made to accommodate requested schedules, subject to availability.

Individual Bookings (fewer than 6 participants)

Individuals who are unable to form a group of six are still welcome to take part in the experience by joining scheduled group tours. A selection of fixed dates will be listed on this page, allowing individual participants to book and join others on available sessions.

Guests will have the opportunity to observe the Maltese Honey Bee, Apis mellifera ruttneri, Malta’s national insect and the only honey bee species endemic to the Maltese Islands.

Led by experienced beekeepers, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the vital role these remarkable pollinators play within Malta’s ecosystems. Visitors will witness the bees in action, learn about their behaviour, discover their importance in supporting local biodiversity, and explore the sustainable practices essential for their conservation.
