The Maltese Honey Bee (Apis mellifera ruttneri) has officially been declared Malta’s National Insect. To mark this significant achievement, the Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) is hosting a special event, Nhar in-Naħla, on Sunday 1st December 2024. The celebration will take place at Sant’Antnin Marsaskala Family Park from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
