The Foundation for the Conservation of the Maltese Honey Bee is proud to announce a new collaboration with PRO Pest Control to help tackle the growing seasonal threat of the Oriental Hornet in Malta. As hornet nests begin to establish themselves during the warmer summer months, we encourage anyone requiring nest removal services to fill the form below.
Through this collaboration, we are working alongside PRO Pest Control; dedicated and professional pest controllers whose experience make them a natural ally in protecting both the National Insect and the public. Furthermore, PRO Pest Control have generously agreed to donate a part of every service charge directly to the Foundation. This means that by using this service, you will not only be supporting a local Maltese business, but also contributing towards more awareness and initiatives focused on the challenges facing the Maltese Honey Bee, Malta’s National Insect.
The Oriental Hornet continues to pose a serious danger not only to the Maltese Honey Bee and local apiculture, but also to public health.
